Fuel economy is always a consideration when tuning your car. Like life, however, there are many variables that can affect fuel economy; the biggest being the driver and their driving style. The worst case scenario is seeing like for like economy to a standard car, but many of our customers see on average an extra 5 miles per gallon improvement
All of our engine remaps are 'Tailor made' for your individual Engine/ECU version. Unlike the vast majority of our competitors, we actually tune your vehicle by remapping a copy of your original software.
This will always give the very best results in terms of performance and reliability as it ensures that the correct software version is used for your particular vehicle.

Typical gains from an engine remap can vary from 20% - 50% depending on the engine specification. The throttle response is greatly improved and the extra mid range torque helps make overtaking so much easier and safer. Drive sensibly and you may well see a welcome increase in fuel economy
Typical gains from an engine remap can vary from 15% - 35% depending on the engine specification. For example, a VW Golf MK5 Edition 30 can see upwards from a 60bhp increase! The throttle response is greatly improved, and turbo lag is reduced. This gives you, the driver, far more control over the car and making it much more enjoyable to drive
Typical gains from an engine remap can vary from 5% - 10%. Although not massive gains, the overall driving experience is greatly improved by filling gaps in the rev range and helping to increase the overall power. An added bonus is an improvement in fuel economy too!.
